Gnocchi Bolognese

Gnocchi Bolognese (3-4 ppl)
30m 🇮🇹 Italian gnocchi

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 can of crush tomatoes
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 soup cube
  • shredded cheese

Spices & Aromatics

  • salt
  • pepper
  • bay leaves
  • Italian herbs of your choice: oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary

Directions

  1. Dice and cook the onion in a pan with a drizzle of oil.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook till it turns brown.
  3. Start boiling the gnocchi in a separate pot.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes with a cup of water, then the cut carrot add spices.
  5. Allow the sauce to come to a simmer, then add the gnocchi to the pan.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
